Tenth Annual Dimensions of Political Ecology Conference

 

February 27 - 29, 2020

 

The DOPE 2020 Conference featured a welcome address by Dr. Rebecca Elmhirst (University of Brighton, UK), a plenary panel with Dr. Macarena Gómez-Barris (Pratt Institute, New York), Dr. Diana Ojeda (Universidad de lost Andes, Columbia), and Dr. Justin Dunnavant (Vanderbilt University, Tennessee). Dr. Alaka Wali (The Field Museum, Chicago) delivered a Keynote Address entitled, "Theory, Practice, Pragmatism: Weaving Together a Path toward Action." Planned field trips included Black Soil: Our Better Nature, Historic Walking Tour, and Oral Histories.

 

We'd like to thank Bear & The Butcher, where we held an informal welcome event, and Al's Bar & Beer Garden, where the DOPE 2020 after party was held.
